A little bit of a personal spin as we gauge new year’s aspirations and goals!
2025 is the last year that I’ll ever work for a corporation, not my own. 2026 is the first year of the rest of my professional career, where I’ll answer only to customers, and not a boss.
I’ve spent close to 25 years working in various corporate sales settings. Some organizations, managers, and mentors have been fantastic! Others leave room for both minor and major improvements!
As I move away from an Enterprise Sales and Executive role and fully embrace Sales Homie, the organization I’ve built to help businesses of all sizes solve their sales and revenue challenges, the above list means a little extra to me in 2026. I’ve moved away from unnecessary stresses and toxic bosses. Scarcity doesn’t exist, only opportunity. Fear? Limiting beliefs? Those are removed by stepping into the batter’s box and taking swings. Because sales is a numbers game. And when you align the right resources and effort, batting at a Hall of Fame average should be no different than your closing percentage.

The White House will meet with executives from the banking and cryptocurrency industries to discuss a path forward for landmark crypto legislation that has stalled amid a clash between the two powerful sectors, said three industry sources.
