What is SALES intelligence? Is it relationship-building, or communication skills? Is it having a keen awareness of nonverbal cues?
I think SALES intelligence is simply the ability to influence, process, and direct change to a prospect.
Think about it…
You’re positioning your solution, and often, you’re asking the prospect to switch from an incumbent vendor to yours. Or you're helping influence that prospect to ‘look differently’ at what/how your solution is solving one of their problems. Ultimately, you’re asking them to change a part of their business, to make room for your solution.
It’s tough.
But if you simplify what it means to have SALES intelligence, I believe it enables you to influence, process, and direct change amongst a prospect or customer.
