Education has its place. But so does experience.
And if you think about your experiences educating you, your mindset helps you grow and win, exponentially.
In sales, the best way to learn and grow is through taking your first revenue-generating role and finding a path to success. And after you’ve done that, go take a different role and “fail forward” into finding solutions for success within that role/industry, too.
There’s a tipping point in anyone’s business (or sales) journey where you must close the textbook and start doing.
And if you have a sales career, plenty of companies, verticals, industries, and associations can help you learn and understand simple and complex business operations.
And that isn’t taught in school(s).
